Youth Awards

Mouse Guard

“The Mouse Guard is given in recognition of the contribution given to our Kingdom by children between the ages of 4 and 13 years.. Note carefully – this does not preclude our young people from gaining any other Lochac award that they may fittingly receive.”
Canon Lore

Mouse Guard pouches are generously made by the populace for the Crown to give to the recipients.  If you are interested in making a pouch please visit the The Broiderers Guild.

Gosling Guard (Royal Cypher)

The Gosling Guard is a Royal Cypher for the children who promote delight and chaos as members of the Royal Household of King Thibault and King Jayne.

Award of Arms

These are not limited to being given only to adult members of the SCA.

The Award of Arms is given for service or other significant contribution to the well-being of the Kingdom, usually at the local level. There is no token, but the award confers the right to bear arms. Gentles granted an award of Arms are entitled to be adressed as “Lord” or “Lady”. This award shall have the effect of converting devices previously registered with the College of Heralds to Arms.
