Ideas for including children in archery:
- purchase some low poundage/children’s bows
- collect donations of broken arrows to cut down to shorter lengths
- have a separate target for children; set up on the line with adults at the distances for their classes.
- cheer enthusiastically when they hit the target or even just get close to the target.
- create a ‘token’ for children in competitions. Encourage them to enter IKACs.
